I have recently started the hobby of sending away for free celebrity autographs by mail. So far it's gotten off to a pretty slow start, but hopefully soon I will have more successes to tell everyone about. I want to thank the people (who I can't remember right now) for inspiring me to do this hobby. It's actually a pretty fun hobby if you are someone who is looking for a summer hobby or something. If you are the type of person who loves to write letters and get neat stuff in the mail, you should collect celebrity autographs. Although not all of the celebrities will write you back, and sometimes it takes them a while to reply (I've been waiting about three months for Billy Crystal to reply to my letter), it's pretty much worth the while and the thirty-three cent stamp. *The very first reply I received was from the singer/ author Jewel. She sent me a pre-stamped postcard sized picture with her and her horse. It's a very nice picture with the simple caption "Jewel" on it, although it's very obvious that it's fake. I had sent a Teen Magazine cover for her to sign, but it was returned with the postcard unsigned.(13 days) *My second reply was from the well-known actress Drew Barrymore. I'm having trouble seeing whether the picture is stamped or pre-signed. I had sent a Teen Magazine cover that she was featured on, and it was sent back unsigned with the other photograph. The caption on the photograph is "Spread the Sunshine, Drew Barrymore" with a drawing of a squiggly sun on it. It's writted in a unique way. If anyone out there reading this webpage has gotten a reply from Drew and maybe knows about the picture, please e-mail me or something and let me know.(14 days) *My third and greatest success so far is from the Microsoft legend Bill Gates. I know that his autograph is authentic!! I sent him a Time Magazine cover that he was featured on, and he sent me the cover back, signed! I was really happy, since computers are a BIG part of my everyday life. (24 days) *Jim Carrey- I recieved a signed photograph - "SPANK YOU VERY MUCH!, Jim Carrey"- It took him 64 DAYS to write me back!!! My longest success reply yet. (I'm STILL awaiting Billy Crystal. Please check back in the near future. Hopefully in the next couple of months I will have more success stories to tell to you. So far my collection of celebrity addresses only contain about 87 addresses, it's still rapidly growing every time I recieve or find any new addresses. I must admit that these addresses really pertain to the people that I like and also the type of music that I like, so please don't be offended if you don't find someone that you were looking for or if you find someone on my list who you may not like! Also, if you really need a certain address and it's not on my list, feel free to e-mail me and I'll do my absolute best to try and find the address for you. I have many valauble sources, and I also don't post every single address that I have found or have access to. Also, by putting these addresses on my website, I am not verifying that they are correct.
